there are other mysteries on this album. i'm surprised no one's mentioned the significance (if there is any) of the bleeps at the beginning and end of the album.

You have listened to the album on "repeat all", yes?

ok, so that was neat.
i guess i'm just more surprised that no one has done a side-by-side comparison of eras of music within the church next to this record. for instance, we all know about the tritone, how the church had it banned because of it's dissonance and the belief that anything with a 3rd in the chord was of the devil and how the ban was eventually lifted. well, using that as a reference point along with the fact that david has mentioned in interviews and postings that "Eastern Hymn" relies on the bass line and that infamous tritone, we could probably figure out the hidden secrets of the church music labyrinth.
i think that used to be a game show on nickelodeon.

Legends of the hidden temple?
I remember crowder talking about how this album is essentially a big puzzle. It hasn't even been half a year yet, so I'm sure stuff like this usually takes time. There's a thread about this somewhere where a few people (myself included) have tried to take some stabs at it. Quite frankly, I'm still trying to figure out some things from A Collision a la crowder and hogan's book. But it is kind of a blessing that they do reveal things as time goes on.

It would be cool to get even just some vague hints on more songs to have something to pick at *cough cough*
