bump [define
so I've noticed people saying "bump" fairly often on here of late. Is it just a catch phrase, or does it actually hold some significance?

"bump" is way to get your post "bump"ed to the top of a forum listing without having anyone respond.
so i guess it's both.

you bump it up to the top of a 'new post' stacks. lots of people read interact using the 'new posts' thing...
