Definitely not worth 800 dollars in my opinion. It wouldn't be hard to just rig up some lights to a piezo trigger. I also don't agree with there claim that it's "the first drum of it's kind". I've heard of people doing this before, but maybe it's the first time someone marketed it. I would personally rather have various stage lights be triggered by the kick and snare. That could be cool.

EDIT: I just realized that it doesn't look like it's actually meant to be played. Just a decoration type thing. That makes it even more lame. haha. It's cool that they used Sonor drums though.

Hear hear. Decoration? Give me a break. At least use a snare with a decently attractive shell & finish. Plain metal shell? Booooorrrrring.
